We are nestled in the heart of Torbay, a thoughtfully designed Early Learning Centre; purpose-built to inspire and nurture young minds.
We’re here to provide our tamariki with an exceptional start in life, while offering parents and whānau peace of mind, knowing their little ones are receiving top-quality care and education in a well-equipped facility, guided by a caring team of qualified educators.
We’re here to provide our tamariki with an exceptional start in life, while offering parents and whānau peace of mind, knowing their little ones are receiving top-quality care and education in a well-equipped facility, guided by a caring team of qualified educators.
Our quality educational programme, facilitated by our caring and professional team, assures parents that they've made the best choice for their child's education and care.
There are three separate areas in Glamorgan ELC to cater to all our different aged tamariki- Infant, Toddlers, and Preschool. Each space has been carefully thought out and designed to cater to the exact needs of the tamariki using it, to ensure they feel comfortable, safe and nurtured during their time with us.
Through a broad range of individual and group experiences and a play-based curriculum, our tamariki develop learning dispositions such as curiosity, wonder and perseverance.
At Glamorgan ELC, our kaiako / teaching team understand that children flourish in an environment where they feel happy and safe. We recognise the profound impact of our physical surroundings on the wellbeing of both children and team.
Our team are deeply passionate about celebrating the individuality of each child. We thrive on nurturing their diverse identities, strengths and interests, recognising that it’s these differences that make our village vibrant and truly alive.
We believe in offering local, fresh, tasty food options for our tamariki.
Whole food embodies the essence of natural nourishment, consumed as close to its original state as possible — free from additives, unprocessed, and with minimal exposure to chemicals. We encourage our tamariki to explore new flavours and understand the impact of food on their bodies. It's about understanding the origins of our food and the journey it takes to reach our plates.
